Diva Arctictrek Venus Rising Shepherdsway Wovoka of Snowolf x Arctictrek’s Cherish Forever 07/06/98 - 21/06/09 "Living on in our memories"
Divadog arrived at 9 weeks like a whirling dervish, like some cartoon Tasmanian devil she came whizzing into our home, poor BeBe didn’t really know what had hit her!!! Diva certainly lives up to her name and loves the sound of her own voice! If she could she would be a stunt dog – she has a great sense of adventure and loves to swim and climb trees! She also loves agility, is a real show off and has proven herself in the show ring becoming one of the top show girls over the last 6 years. She finds working in harness a little boring and tends to feign illness every time her harness and the rig come out! Diva is a quick learner and is eager to please (as long as she gets a treat in exchange!), she too has her KC good citizen bronze award. She is looking forward to putting her paws up, retiring from the show ring and enjoying lazy days at home with her best mate BeBe.
Today I lost one of my best friends..... For those of you who knew Diva, she was
a dog with a big heart and a full on character, she had a great sense of
adventure and yes she loved to live life on the edge climbing trees,
swimming in rapids, walking the line. Diva was such an easy dog to live with
and we had so many journeys through life together, she achieved her Bronze
and Silver GC with ease and was undoubtedly one of the top winning Malamutes
of the last decade. I think I am right in saying she was the 1st bitch to
win BOB at LKA. I am so proud of all her achievements and I am very grateful
to Babs for allowing me the privilege of owning her. Jo, Taz and Moochie x x x x
